Moby Insure
Insurance website · React
Moby Insure is an insurance company website built for a freelance client. The brief was a clean, professional web presence that clearly communicates their services and makes it easy for potential customers to get in touch or request a quote.
The site was built in React with a focus on clean typography, clear information hierarchy, and fast load times. The design prioritises trust signals and readability - important for a financial services audience.

What was built
Service pages
Clear, scannable pages for each insurance product with benefit highlights and call-to-action sections.
Responsive layout
Fully responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop - tested across all major screen sizes.
Contact & quote forms
Lead capture forms for quote requests, integrated with the client's backend for submission handling.
Performance optimisation
Lazy-loaded images and code-split routes to keep the initial bundle small and load times fast.
Clean typography
Professional typographic hierarchy designed to communicate trust and clarity for a financial services audience.
Tailwind CSS styling
Utility-first styling with a consistent design system - easy for the client to maintain or extend.
The hard part
Insurance websites need to communicate trust immediately. The design had to feel professional and credible without being cold or overly corporate.
How it was solved
I used a clean, whitespace-forward layout with a restrained colour palette and strong typographic hierarchy. Trust signals (e.g. accreditations, clear contact details) were placed prominently above the fold.
